Sophistication was definitely the key note in Jason Wu's collection this season. The show started off with sheer tops accented with large bows along with mid-waisted trousers. There were crisp blazers and jackets that set a modern feel, and it contrasted well with the high waisted shorts that were brought out mid way. After a couple more bows, a bit of tweed and floral applique, the dresses came out. I found the dresses to contrast the same concept of the tops. The upper sections were definitely sheer, and as the dress moves down, the light material just flows. A pink and nude colored strapless dress definitely made the biggest impression, and in fact it was my favorite look of the show. Jason Wu was definitely enjoyable and by far the forerunner for me.
